Saturday sees three senior mens fixtures prior to an afternoon and evening of Autumn Internationals gracing our screens.  Prior to the 1st XV's home game in Wadworth's Southern Counties South v Swanage & Wareham, Emma and her team will be hosting this month's VP's lunch.  After last week's tough away trip to league leaders Sherborne, Devizes host the Swans, who landed their first victory of the season last weekend, with a 34-5 home win over basement side Blandford.  Swans last season were pushing for promotion and their early season form has indicated that they are having a season of transition, however the Devizes lads are under no illusions this will be a tough outing.  Last season it finished one a piece in terms of contests between the two sides, with both winning away on the road.  In fact, Devizes' away win at Swans last year was their most memorable in an up and down campaign.  It is a 2.30pm kick off at the Chivers Ground on Saturday as the Saddlebacks look to get back to winning ways.

For our 2nd XV, after their superb win over Melksham 2s last weekend (57-0), they head to Calne who are flirting with the top of the table in Wadworth's Dorset & Wilts North 2.  Devizes 2nds have had some epic battles against Calne over the years and will certainly need to play their best rugby to come away with anything on Saturday.  Saturday's performance though has given the 2nd team lads a new lease of life, and they will be chomping at the bit, to get a second successive win.

The 3rd XV travel to Corsham 2s - always a tough and hotly contested fixture against our Wiltshire rivals - this is not to be missed.  2.30pm kick offs for both of those game.

At 3pm in the main and members bar, we will be showing the England v Argentina Autumn Internationals match from Twickenham.  This will be followed by Wales v Australia or Ireland v South Africa for prime time viewing after 5pm.

Sunday sees our Ladies look to bounce back from a tough outing against Ellingham & Ringwood last weekend, as they host Yeovil for a 2pm kick off on Sunday afternoon.  Both sides are looking at mid table currently in the league, so a win for either side will be important in terms of momentum as we go into Christmas.

Please come along and support all teams on Saturday, whether that is at home or away.  Entry is FREE to all Devizes games - so come along and support your local rugby club!
