Coaches across the Junior Section are very excited at the imminent restart of the community rugby season.

We plan on starting training for the U6 to U16s on Sunday 6th September which is the official first day of the season. We have had to adjust timings to split everyone between 2 time slots, to ensure social distancing in line with the RFU guidelines and our risk assessment.

Training is in 2 shifts: 0900-1015 and then 1045-1200. This is to ensure we can get all groups training safely within the regulations. Please contact the relevant Age Group coach for your child here:

Players do need to book in for each training session, and there is a link to the online registration system within each team site.

Ladies and Girls teams are training together and please contact them via the website for details.

Please note that the Sports Club premises remains closed and no indoor facilities are currently available. This includes bar, seating area and kitchen. The Sports Club staff are furloughed.

Limited toilet facilities will be available, and you will receive a briefing on these by Sunday. No changing rooms are available. Parents are requested to note this and ensure that players, particularly young children, are prepared for the lack of facilities.

Elsewhere on this site you will find information from our Return to Rugby Task Force including the Risk Assesment.

And of course our new Prize Drw, Devizes 20:20!

Yours in Rugby
