Sports Club AGM tonight (Mon 9th August)

Folks,

Following up on earlier messages via the website and from Secretary Nick via GMS, a reminder: the Devizes Sports Club AGM is this evening, at 7:30PM. Your attendance is very welcome - everyone who pays an adult subscription (player or supporter) to the Rugby Club is a member of the Sports Club.

It's important to be there, this year in particular: the last eighteen months have seen enormous upheaval, significant disruption - and the route forward is different from what's gone before.

Here are the papers that the Sports Club published, and that Nick has already circulated to our membership, on the Sports Club's behalf - the calling notice, the agenda, the Chairman's report (the last one from David Whatling, as he is standing down, with our grateful thanks for all his work in office over this very difficult period) and some explanatory notes (a FAQ).

We have a record of who is able to cast a vote, should formal voting be necessary.
