It is with deep sadness that Devizes RFC shares the news of the passing of our dear friend and supporter, Rick O’Shea. Rick’s unwavering dedication to Devizes Rugby Club shone through in countless ways — from his generous backing through our valued sponsors, Renelec Groundworks, where he served as Managing Director, to his joyful presence on the sidelines, cheering on the lads, and warmly joining VP’s lunches. Rick was not only a pillar of our club, but also a cherished figure within the wider community. His kindness, energy, and friendship will be missed more than words can express.
We will gather to honour Rick’s life on Friday 22nd August at West Wiltshire Crematorium, Semington, at 1pm, followed by a celebration of his life at The Peppermill. All who knew Rick are warmly invited to attend, and we ask that you dress smartly in his memory.
