Next-phase update - Stage D

The Return to Rugby task force have put in place all the necessary steps to get us from Stage C to Stage D - please see the risk assessment that's been posted on the recently-updated COVID-19 information page.

We continue to follow the RFU's Return To Rugby plan for grassroots clubs, and to adhere to the Government's guidance for sporting venues outside this.

What does this means on the pitch for the players? Time-bounded, lower-risk contact back into training: and a lot of smiling faces, if the U16s were anything to go by.

To progress from Stage C to Stage D each age group's coaching team will have read the risk assessment, and have discussed it with the DoR/CCC, to make sure everyone is on the same page.

It's great to see the juniors and the seniors back on the training park, last Sunday was week #3 for the juniors and they've had three great weeks of weather so far - fingers crossed it stays fine.

My ouija board and crystal ball have stopped working, and I've run out of chickens, so let's see what the gods of rugby bring us in the next few weeks. We will continue to be ready for a full return, when it happens.
