WHAT AN EVENING!
Devizes RFC held the End of Season Dinner on Friday evening, although it was very different to previous years with this year taking place online via Zoom. A big thank you to Rhys Harries & Kieran Hiscock for organising a superb evening. We raised a magnificent £1,500 for Great Western Air Ambulance; £500 of which was raised on the evening due to several club members braving the shave!
The evening was also an opportunity to look back at the ups and downs of an overall successful season as both the 1st XV and Development Squad finished in 4th places in their respective leagues. The award winners on the night were the following:
1st XV players player of the year: Kieran Hiscock
2nd XV players player of the year: Dan Rose
1st XV Coaches player of the year: Lewis Paget
2nd XV Coaches player of the year: Craig Hurcombe
Most improved player of the year: John Sims
Congratulations to all Award winners. Hopefully we'll be able to celebrate properly in the coming months!
