Devizes RFC Girls played on two of the most iconic English rugby pitches in 48 hours over the weekend.
On Saturday 6 April the Girls took to the pitch at Twickenham, the home of English rugby, during half time at The Clash in front of 62,000 Bath & Bristol fans as part of the Bath Rugby Foundation and Bath Rugby Community Girls Showcase.
The Girls then took part in a Girls Touch Rugby Showcase at The Rec, home of Premiership side Bath Rugby, during half time of the Bath Utd v Gloucester game on Monday evening.
The Girls appreciate the fantastic experiences they have enjoyed and the support this season from Bath Rugby Foundation, having been involved with the Premiership Rugby’s Project Rugby Programme.
With rugby being one of the fastest growing girls participation sports, Devizes RFC will be hosting free rugby taster sessions for girls aged 10-17 years old on Sunday 14 April and Sunday 28 April. For further details please contact James O’ Sullivan, firstname.lastname@example.org
